Update (2003)
As most people must have guessed, Spitsign is no more, or at least not a functioning band. Both Bjössi and Bjarni are still with Mínus, and Bóas is now with Vígspá.. Ívar was for a long time also with mínus, but has now quit to focus on his education. Smári has been involved with Quarashi as a touring guitarist, but is now working on his own projects.

SPITSIGN / MÍNUS (26. Mar)
Spitsign is on a break now, all the current members of Spitsign are in MÍNUS and Mínus is doing well, I have not heard anything from Spitsign in a while, lets just hope it will be soon.

SPITSIGN UPDATE (31. Jan)
Spitsign has completed the making of 3 new songs, the new songs are very good, and the bandmembers seem to be really happy with them. Agnar Kofoed Hansen (singer of Bisund) will sing one of the new spitsign songs.

DEMO CD (31. Jan)
Spitsign will release a demo cd withing the next three months, and i will give you a update on the cd as soon as anything starts to happen.

SPITSIGN VOTED "Most likely to succeed" (Bjartasta vonin) in UNDIRTONAR MAGAZINE (31. Jan)
Spitsign got the honor of being voted "most likely to succeed" (bjartasta vonin) by the readers of Undirtonar in the 18edition of the magazine in January 1999.

SPITSIGN UPDATE (5. Jan)
Spitsign has been busy writing new material and trying out singers.
The new material kicks ass, but is a little diffrent than the old stuff, rawer with more melody.
The new stuff will be relased on a CD Demo as soon as the band has found a singer, it is possible that the demo will be released by Mannaskítur inc.

ICELANDIC UNDERGROUND (5. Jan)
There are talks of a cd that includes Icelandic underground bands and more.
Possible bands on cd: Spitsign, Mínus, Bisund, Muffan, (maybe Brain police), and more.

Spitsign have been looking for a singer to replace Boas, more news on that in the new year. Spitsign have been practising and getting ready for the new year.

POPP Í REYKJAVÍK (28.Oct)

The Movie Pop in Reykjavik, was premiered last night in one of Reykjavik's cinemas, it featured most of Reykjaviks pop/rock/other bands. including; Spitsign, Sigur Rós, gus gus, Maus, Bellatrix, Stolia, Páll Óskar, Curver, Subterranean, Quarasi, Vínill, and many more.
Spitsign were one of the best bands in the movie, the only heavy band, and the kicked serious butt. The Movie shows allot cool shots of drummer Bjossi. If your into Icelandic music, this is a must see.

SPITSIGN ER EKKI HÆTT! (24.Oct)

Ókey, nú eins og þið vitið er Bóas hættur og Smári sömuleiðis líka og við óskum þeim tveim góðs gengis í því sem þeir eru að gera eða eru að fara að gera eða...hef ekki guðmund?
En samt sem áður þá geri ég Bjössi (KiD) ykkur fullkomlega ljóst að SPITSIGN ER EKKI HÆTT! í fyrsta lagi ákváðum við taka smá pásu og hugsa málin og nú er sú pása á enda og framundan er nóg að gera YOU WAIT! en með söngvara mál við erum með einn in sight svo að this shit is on and its gona be hevíerr ðan evva sko !!! takk :) !!!

BÓAS HÆTTIR Í SPITSIGN (12.Oct)

Ég hef ákveðið að hætta í spitsign vegna þess að ég held að bandið geti gert betur með einhvern annann söngvara, og að ég geti gert betur með annarri hljómsveit! Eftir tveggja ára samstarf þá fannst mér alltof margt vantauppá ennþá. Mér þykir fyrir því en ég bara "höndlaði" þetta ekki lengur. En ég vona að þið gefist ekkert upp á mér........I´ll Be back...hehehe :)!

Annars óska ég þessarri hljómsveit velfarnaðar og, bisund og Ungblóð líka!

Smári hefur ákveðið að hætta í Spitsign eftir rúmlega hálfsárs samstarf. Er þetta í góðu og óskar Smári þeim félögum velfarnaðar.

Smari has decided to leave Spitsign after 6 months in the band. Smari and The band part on good terms and he wishes Spitsign good luck in the future.

Fridays concert was awesome, one of the best concerts in I have ever vitnesed. more info in review

Canada canceled at Fridays concert, but UNGBLÓÐ replased them and kicked ass.

Spitsigns setlist was like this: Marinering [HAM cover], Bullzeye, My Angel, (New Song), AKA, SPIT [Sepultura cover], ROOTS [Sepultura cover].

I have also split the news/concert page in two. In news like always you can get the latest on spitsign, (including concerts), but in "concerts" you can get all the info on old and upcoming concerts.

In Breiðholt, Undirheimar is FB's student center, located underneath the swimming pool in Breiðholt, The entrance is next to the Main entrance of the Swimming pool. (But instead of going through it just take the stairs that lead down. There you will find "Undirheimar" (The Underground).
