Fyrst we bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla and then bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla bla with the first bla bla bla and then bla bla bla and finally bla bla bla... simple as that Solid i.v. is a 4-piece band from Reykjavik, Iceland. Kalli, Junior, Oli and Oskar. Kalli,Junior and Oskar have been working together for over 3 years, recording over 40 songs at the I.V Studios in Reykjavik, and recently Oli came in to suport them with the guitars. When something is right it clicks, and the first thing you'll notice about Solid i.v. is a strong blend of heavy guitars with melodic hook-oriented vocals and a uniquely accessible blend of alternative/hard rock and deliberate song craft. Having released, "Negative fool" , "Biatch" and then "I.V." they have enjoyed success on the radio in Iceland. This release has been in heavy rotation on the air for the past year. In the year 2003 the band went to New York to showcase their talents for several record labels, thus landing them a headlining gig at one of last year "Iceland Airwaves" venues, one of the mostunique music festivals in Europe. For the last year the band has been doing gigs in Reykjavik, along with building a steady fan base in both Iceland and in New York. Today Solid i.v. have finished working on their first album that is to be released on the 12 of oct 2004 and followed up by touring in both Europe and the U.S. So stay tuned for more news about your Solid i.v. because "while you are getting better, your medicine may hurt."
